Jacob Lichen Dyed

2 ply, worsted weight, 4 oz, 200 yd skeins

Natural grey heritage breed Jacob wool is carefully selected, sorted, and cleaned on our small Oregon farm.  The wool is then taken to a local mill for custom processing into our yarn.  I gather windfall lichen from the woods on our farm and slowly dye this yarn over several days.  The aroma is lasting and is a delightful, olfactory walk through the woods.  The color is permanent.  This product supports the local economy 100%!
